Special Pre-Convention Thursday Night Tour of the Seelbach Hotel
Presented by Larry Johnson - Thursday, Oct 4 @ 6:30 pm

Take a tour of the historic Seelbach Hilton Hotel with the man who wrote the book - literally - Larry Johnson. He is the concierge at the hotel, a local historian, and author of "The Seelbach." Plan on a fun-filled education of Louisville's first grand hotel, its many famous guests, and perhaps even the ghostly "Lady in  Blue." Cost:  $10 Limited to 25 Attendees  SOLD OUT

Beaded and Twisted Wire Jewelry
Presented by Marcia Friend of Facets by Marcia - Saturday, Oct 6  9-11 am   Green Room

Using wire and beads, students will be taught to make delicate jewelry pieces to adorn any doll. Basic jewelry techniques will be shown and no previous jewelry making experience is required. Students should bring a doll for fitting purposes. Marcia has been creating doll jewelry designs since 1998 and her jewelry has been featured in many magazines, as well as the  "Tyler Boutique Essentials" line.

Ellowyne Luggage Workshop
Presented by Durelle Brown - Saturday, Oct 6  3-5 pm  Green Room

Ellowyne will be traveling in style with her new vintage luggage collection you create for her in this fun and easy workshop. Scaled to fit any 16" fashion doll, this workshop is designed for most every skill set; the most technical skill is cutting and folding! So if you use scissors you can definitely do this project. The luggage set includes a Pullman, a train case, and a hat box created in vintage fabric print with leather accents. It is very important for you to bring along to class a good pair of scissors, a straight edge (clear works best) and a seam ripper.
